As the organization approaches its 30th anniversary, its legacy is rooted in a steadfast mission: to support the underserved and uplift communities with dignity, care, and compassion. Though modest in size, FOGS continues to extend its reach through thoughtful partnerships and direct, meaningful action — especially in times of crisis.
A Lifetime of Service Honored
At the heart of this mission stands Archbishop Emeritus Charles Dufour, whose tireless service and spiritual leadership have inspired decades of charitable work across Jamaica. In recognition of his enduring contributions, and the archbishop's lifelong service to Jamaica and its most vulnerable citizens, FOGS proudly presented him with its Lifetime Achievement Award, a tribute to his enduring commitment to faith, compassion, and social justice.
Gala With a Purpose
To celebrate this legacy and power the work ahead, FOGS will host its Annual Fundraising Gala on April 18, 2026. This signature event not only honors key partners and volunteers but also raises critical funds for the ongoing projects that bring hope to underserved communities. As always, 100% of proceeds go directly to the work, no frills, just action and impact.

FOGS benefits from the generosity of key partners such as Food for the Poor and Vitas Healthcare, long-time corporate sponsors helping to expand the scope and sustainability of programs on the ground.
FOGS also proudly serves as the implementation partner for the Yogi Foundation's bold initiative: Pathways to Dignity: Empowering Education and Health in Jamaica.
This transformative effort provides crucial funding for educational access and medical outreach, strengthening long-term development in underserved communities.
